Geographical location of the vineyards: In Gavardo, in Muscoline and in Calvagese della Riviera: hamlets of Terzago and Belvedere, medium hillside (mt.260); cultivation with eco-friendly system.
Training system: spurred cordon with few buds.
Grapes used for production and processing: Riesling Renano (90%), Incrocio Manzoni (10%). It reaches full maturity in the year following the harvest also due to its good alcohol content and considerable body. It is fermented in used acacia barriques for 4 months and then refined for 6 months in mulberry barriques. It is marketed 36 months after bottling.
Colour: straw yellow with bright green reflections; Bouquet: persistent acacia scent and honeyed aftertaste, a wine with a decisive backbone, enveloping in the mouth; Taste: dry without harshness, albeit with a slight acidic streak;
Alcohol: 14% vol.
It goes well with cured meats and smoked fish, vegetable flans, tasty risottos, ravioli, stewed fish, soft cheeses and savoury crepes.
Serving recommendations: Uncork the bottle at the time and serve after brief oxygenation, as this is a dry and fragrant white wine with complex aromas.
