Geographical location of the vineyards: At Calvagese Riviera, in the lands of the Valténesi valley that crown the blue waters of the lake.
Grapes used for production and processing: Groppello 60%, Marzemino 30% and Barbera 10%. This miscellany of red grapes ripens in moraine, arid and stony soils, in the absence of irrigation, and becomes a rosé wine due to its unique processing method. The carefully selected, high-sugar grapes are harvested at the end of August by hand into crates to avoid crushing the berries.
Organoleptic examination:
Colour: pale pink with brilliant cherry reflections; Aroma: intense, fruity bouquet with a delicately aromatic vein reminiscent of rosehips;
Taste: dry traditionally salty, harmonious, leaves pleasant and persistent traces of fruit in the mouth. Delicate acidity, accentuated by unmistakable savoury notes.
Alcohol: 12.5% vol. and more
Classification: dry rosé, delicately salty, with an extraordinary floral bouquet.
It successfully accompanies cured meats; with tortellini; fish soup; with egg pasta and seafood ragout; with mozzarella and vegetable pie; with steamed and grilled fish; with battered shellfish and with fried fish.
Serving recommendations: Serve chilled at 10°C - 12°C.
